Sealed, Ritual, & Chant Firefly Research

In my last entry, I set up 2 breeding pairs of butterflies in the attempt to get an Occult butterfly.  The Occult butterfly comes from a Sealed effect + a Ritual effect. 

This got me thinking about the fireflies. Is the Sealed and Ritual effect available for the fireflies yet? If it is, I could try and see if there is an Occult firefly! 

I went to the Papillon Breedable Information site to check their information on what all is out for fireflies.  While this site is excellent, one of the best out there for papillon information, it is not fully up to date on all info. I know for sure that the firefly info is not as up to date as it could be because it does not mention several different kinds of body mutations and some of the particle effects are also missing. Due to the missing data, my only options of finding out the answers to my questions, I will just have to try to unlock it for myself... or ask Butterfly Bellflower (the papillon breedable creator).  Unfortunately Bell is not always around when I am, so I never really get a chance to speak with her. No. It seems like I am just going to put some fireflies out there and see what happens.  That's ok, I love the fireflies.  The more the merrier! 

First thing is first... I have to look and see what makes the Sealed and Ritual effects. 

Apprentice effect + Witch/Nether effect  = Sealed effect

Apprentice effect + Chant effect = Ritual effect

I know for sure the Apprentice and Nether effects are indeed on fireflies. I have both types in my inventory already. Good start. Chant and Witch I do not have yet on fireflies, but the Papillon Breedable Info site says that they became available for fireflies in the v14 update. Great! I have 1 Chant effect firefly thanks to the generosity of a friend. Just one though.  So now, I come to a delima... Do I want to back track , and try to breed more Chant effect fireflies first, so I will have plenty to work with, or do I want to just go ahead and pair up the Chant + Apprentice and see what I get- possibly not getting another Chant to work with? Hmm...

After some time thinking it over, I have decided to try and breed the Chant firefly with a non-traited firefly, hoping to get more Chants to work from. 

Chant breeding pair 1:

Siren (Chant effect) + Hal 

Siren is a bright yellow with Chant effect.  Hal is a light blue, no trait firefly. Offspring should be a light green in color.  Hoping to have the Chant effect passed along.
